Questions for Stephen Rockwell

  1. Hey Stephen,
Your old teacher Mrs. Upchurch does indeed sound scary! This question is probably going to seem silly, but I have to ask, what did Mrs. Upchurch mean when she said “Blood and gore all over the floor, and me without my spoon”? It that a quote from someone else or was it just something she made up?

  2. Hey Stephen!
I'm going to Greece with Dr. Viau in about a week and I am soooo incredibly excited!! So, what was your favorite part about the trip? And is there anything I should definitely make time for that might not be on the itinerary ora favorite restaurant or food I should try?!

  3. Hey Stephen! Sounds like you are quite the athlete! Did you continue to play sports while here at Georgia College through intermurals or school teams?

  4. Hey Stephen,

I love the way you described your teachers. So my question is how do you want to be described by your former students? Do you plan to be more like Mrs. Upchurch or Mrs. Jackson?

  6. What classes did you take with Dr. Palmer? Did you have a favorite text from his class, if so, what was it and why?

  7. If you had to choose would you say that the teacher that scared you had a more influential role in retrospect? Also, do you wish that your teacher would have focused less on grammar and more on content?

  8. Stephen:

The new Paul Simon album is indeed top notch. I sound like a broken record on all of these, but since you are a self-proclaimed music person, what's your favorite record/song? Sorry for being lame, but it's one of the four things I can talk about for hours on end.

    All best, -NH

  9. I have to admit, I'm jealous of your Athens experience : ). I was wondering with your love for music if you ever played an instrument?
